Looking After Your Eyewear


Care for your contact lenses by including these simple dos and don’ts in your daily routine.


  • ALWAYS follow the wearing schedule advised by us.
  • ALWAYS keep a pair of sunglasses handy when you are outdoors to shield your eyes from harmful UV rays.
  • Wash and dry your hands with lint-free material before handling your contact lenses.
  • ALWAYS use fresh solution and rub and rinse the contact lenses before insertion. The solution should be replaced every three to six months, depending on the brand.
  • Replace your lens case at least every three months.
  • ALWAYS use fresh lubricating and rewetting drops for clear and comfortable vision and long lasting relief from dryness and irritation.
  • Immediately REPLACE faulty, damaged or dried-out lenses.
  • REMOVE your contact lenses immediately if your eyes become red, dry or irritable or you have reduced vision in one or both eyes and contact your optometrist without delay.


  • SLEEP in your lenses.
  • RE-USE solution, tap water or saliva to clean your lenses.
  • Put off visiting your optometrist if you are experiencing eye irritation or redness.
  • WEAR your lenses when you go swimming.
  • SHARE your lenses with anyone else.
